A group of ten sentenced of cyber-bullying against Brigitte Macron

A French judicial body has found guilty ten people for carrying out the online harassment of Brigitte Macron, the wife of France's leader, Emmanuel Macron.
The accused individuals faced accusations of spreading fabrications regarding her gender and sexual orientation, in addition to publishing defamatory statements about the pair's 24-year age gap.
The court issued suspended prison sentences of as much as eight months to the convicted individuals. The complete verdict has yet to be released.
A circulating unfounded claim claiming that Brigitte Macron is a person assigned male at birth has existed since her husband's rise to the presidency in 2017.
This Monday's court decision in France coincides with the Macrons engaging in a libel case in the US against conservative commentator Candace Owens, who has repeatedly shared analogous false narratives about the Brigitte Macron's biological sex.
Their complaint alleges that Owens ignored all credible evidence that refuted her assertions choosing instead to amplify the voices of notorious conspiracy peddlers.
Owens has often echoed these claims on her show and social media channels, and in March 2024 declared that she would bet her whole career on her belief that Mrs. Macron was born a man.
Brigitte Macron initially encountered her now-husband when she taught at his lycée.
The two entered into matrimony in 2007, when the then-29-year-old Emmanuel Macron was 29 and she was approximately 54 years old.
